Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're talking about the Rock Tamers mud flaps on the back of our 2022 Ram 2500. That's gonna be a solid option for you if you're trying to reduce a lot of that splatter or rocks getting kicked up from the back of your vehicle, especially if you are hauling something on the back of your trailer, whether that be an ATV or boat or a horse trailer. So let's check 'em out. The neighbor we have today is actually looking at these mud flaps because they've had this truck for a while. They haven't really had any issues before until they recently just got this camper and they noticed when driving around if they we inchesre on any gravel roads or any roads that had a little bit more debris or dirt on them, a lot of that was being kicked up and was hitting their RV, damaging it, which is something they're not really looking forward to. Putco Mud Skins Front or Rear Mud Flaps Installation - 2012 Ram 1500- Video

Andy: Hello everyone. Andy here with etrailer. Today we're going to take a look at the Putco Mudskins Mudflaps.With the Hex Shield Series, as you can see here, they are extremely durable and this is a legit mudflap. It does come down a little bit on the lower side, but with this construction, it's going to really protect your vehicle and other vehicles on the road.These mud flaps do come in three finishes: a polished stainless, a brushed stainless, and in the black durable plastic that you can see here. One thing that's really nice about these is they do have a custom form fit on the inside, so whenever it comes to needing that extra wheel or tire clearance, if you we're to upgrade to get a little bit bigger size, you're going to have plenty of room on the inside of your wheel well.With these different holes throughout the mudflap on the mounting portion up here, that's going to give you a lot of options when it comes to getting that custom fit or look that you're wanting. Our customer here is going to be upgrading to a bigger wheel and tire package, so we went ahead and moved the mudflap a little bit further off the vehicle. more

Husky Rear Mud Flap Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video

Today on our 2014 Doge Ram pickup, we'll be installing the Husky custom molded mud flaps, part number Hl57151. To begin our install, on this application we'll need to remove the older manufacturer's rock guards. These are held on by a total of four fasteners. To remove the two push pin fasteners, go ahead and take a flat blade screwdriver or a trim panel tool, pry the center of the fastener out, and then remove it completely. Then we'll go ahead and take the two screw fasteners out. Now we can remove the guard. more

Husky Front Mud Flaps Installation - 2014 Dodge Ram- Video

Today on our 2014 Dodge Ram pickup well be installing the Husky custom molded mud flaps for the front wheels, part number HL56171. To begin our install well first need to remove the older manufacturers rock guards. For this application there are two screw fasteners on the inner fender well and one push pin fastener. To remove the push pin fastener Ill use a flat blade screw driver and get between the two pieces, prying the center section out and then removing the whole thing. Well go ahead and take the push pin fastener and reinstall it in the bottom of the fender. Using a soap and water solution were going to go ahead and thoroughly clean the fender where our new mud flap will sit. more
